Prevarnish Update

Here's some pics of the Car Wars minis, to document my final paint job on the flat plastic models, and to show the "Prepainted" versions, before varnishing.

I'm hoping that the varnish will slightly increase the contrast, at best.

I'm praying, that the varnish doesn't actually MELT the minis, so I'll start with the Pink Car, and update after I've either varnished them all - or documented the disaster.

Cars Wars Vehicle Updates

Here's a BUNCH of pictures, of both the "Plain" printed vehicles, with their initial base coats, and some early washes - and also the Big Bertha I ordered, that comes from the printer, already "pre-painted".

I'm going to say I'm continuously stunned, by what Shapeways is doing with this "Colored Sandstone" material.

My next 3D print, arrived from the printer today, and as usual, came out better than expected, and ready to paint.

I plan to pick up some primer tomorrow, and get this one ready, along with the smaller white one I had printed last week.

Can't wait to see them painted.
